Version 2.0 is out

Version 2.0 of "Baby's Coming" is available. We've redesigned the whole user interface to make it even more accessible.

Buttons are larger, so they should be easier to tap on - that's something many mothers-to-be will appreciate. All controls are in a strong contrast with the background - they should be much easier to locate in one glance.

We've also started adding support for multiple languages (version 2.0 is is available in English and Polish), so hopefully you'll be able to use the application in your native language soon.

If you like our application, there's a perfect way you can show your appreciation - please donate a small sum to NSPCC. Let's support people fighting with cruelty to children.

Version 1.1 is out

We're pleased to inform you, that we've updated our application. We've added few highly requested features. The latest version will allow you to:
  • log information about when your waters broke
This information is very often requested by midwives upon admission to hospital, so it's good to have it just in case. Even when your waters break multiple times, you'll be able to log all occurences and share that information with your midwife.
  • undo
Whenever you press a button by a mistake, you can undo your last action (or as many actions as you wish).
  • e-mail export
The latest version of our application will allow you to send all labour information via e-mail.

Track your contractions during labour

“Baby is coming” iPhone/iPod Touch application allows you to keep track of your labour. Maintaining record of your contractions is essential for monitoring the progress of labour.

All information is stored on the device and can be easily retrieved when needed (e.g. your midwife may want to review that information when you get to hospital). With a single tap, you can also e-mail all information to anyone.

Know when to head to hospital

In many countries, women are generally expected to spend the first stage of labour at home, and head to hospital only when the labour is well established (i.e. contractions are frequent enough). For guidelines applicable in UK, go to NHS website. Always consult your decision about when to go to hospital with your midwife.

Our app won’t distract you

We kept user interface as clean and simple as possible. We understand - labour is a very demanding time, and there’s no place for unnecessary distractions. Fonts are large and easy to read, so you’ll be able to read all relevant information in a single glance.

Where can I get it?

You can download the application from iTunes App Store.

We can develop an iPhone/iPad app for you - please send an e-mail to iphonedev@ideawell.co.uk | © 2009 Filip Łukasik
